Older Works

The portraits are painted in a style reminiscent of Art Nouveau and inspired by the work of the artist Alphonse Mucha who was famous in Paris at the end of the nineteenth century.

The other pieces are from a series titled “True Self”. I love line work and created these abstract paintings of musical instruments because of my love of music. I wanted to capture the movement and joy that music inspires.
